- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited technical school
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- Five years of experience in maintaining power production equipment.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Minimum Position-Specific Training Required:
- Primary Power Equipment training.
- Secondary power equipment (generators) training.
- Electrical Safety training
- Lightning surge suppression equipment training
- Possess a valid state Driver’s License
Citizenship and Security Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizen
- Obtain and maintain the appropriate level of clearance

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, constant use of sight abilities, constant use of hearing/speech abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
- May involve work in different environments (shop or other facility) that is moderately lighted, heated and ventilated, exposure to wet; humid conditions; fumes; airborne particles; outside weather conditions; and risk of electrical shock; exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme temperatures, and vibration.
- Routinely lifts 15-25 pounds, occasionally lifts in excess of 45 pounds.
- May require climbing on structures, ladders, towers, and be properly trained in fall protection gear and procedures.
- Routine travel to remote site facilities by vehicle and/or occasional helicopter travel to remote mountain top peaks.
