SALARY:

$108,888.00-$ 155,563.20

 

The Systems Analyst 3-ETL Developer  plays a pivotal role in understanding and optimizing the functional and technical capabilities for the clients’ needs. This role collaborates with key stakeholders to assess business needs, analyze existing systems, and implement solutions that ensure seamless integration, enhanced efficiency, and customer satisfaction

 

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation and configuration of the infrastructure for the data integration hub.
  • Design, development, and implementation (DD&I) of the data integration hub using an agile methodology for all standard SDLC phases that include, but are not limited to:
    • Validation of performance metric requirements, Creation of Epics/User Stories/Tasks
    • Automation of data acquisition from a variety of data sources
    • Development of complex SQL scripts, Testing – integration, load and stress
    • Deployment / publication internally and externally
  • Operations support and enhancement of the data integration hub.
  • This development effort will utilize an agile methodology based upon the approach currently in use at our organization. As a member of the agile development team, the worker responsibilities may include:
  • Data acquisition from a variety of data sources for multiple uses.
  • Developing complex SQL scripts to transform the source data to fit into a dimensional model, then to create views and materialized views in Oracle, developing automation with Informatica IICS or Power Center to pull data from external data sources and transform it to fit into a dimensional model.
  • Collaborating with other members of the Data Engineering Team on the design and implementation of an optimal data design.
  • Verification and validation of SQL scripts, Informatica automation and database views.
  • Developing automated means of performing verification and validation, Participating in all sprint ceremonies
  • Work closely with the Architects and Data Engineering Team on implementation designs and data acquisition strategies.
  • Enhance and maintain the Java web site that provides Tableau dashboards to an array of users with different roles.
  • Develop mockups and work with customers for validation, working closely with other members of the team to address technical problems
  • Assisting with the implementation and configuration of developmental tools
  • Producing and maintaining technical specifications, diagrams, or other documentation as needed to support the DD&I efforts
  • Participation in requirements and design sessions
  • Interpreting new and changing business requirements to determine the impact and proposing enhancements and changes to meet these new requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Here’s What You Need

  • Must have at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC or Power Center.
  • Experiencing acquiring and integrating data from multiple data sources/technologies using Informatica for use by a Tableau data visualization object. Data source techs should include Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access and Adobe PDF.
  • Experience designing and developing complex SQL scripts that are fast and efficient
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience as a system analyst for a data analytics, performance management system, or data warehousing project. Technical writing and diagraming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
  • Experience designing and developing scripts using Python
  • Experience on an agile sprint team
  • Experience with JIRA software
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Working Conditions

  • Professional hybrid office environment.
  • Ability to work 3 remote days and 2 onsite days ( Monday and Wednesdays) per week.
  • Must reside in the Austin area.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
  • May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
  • Travel costs, per diem, and other related expenses must be pre-approved in compliance with State of Texas travel guidelines.
