SALARY: $145,000-$195,000

The Work

The Enterprise Architect, Implementation Support, will provide technical leadership and expertise in designing, implementing, and governing the enterprise architecture for the Health Care Management and Coordination System (HCMACS) Program.

 

The Enterprise Architect will guide the overall technical vision and architectural strategy for the program. This role ensures alignment with the statewide IT standards, security protocols, and interoperability goals while supporting the integration and scalability of the HCMACS solution. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with cross-agency technical and leadership teams to ensure that the program’s foundational technical architecture meets both current and future requirements while enabling cross-agency and cross-system connections.

 

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the technology infrastructure supports secure, seamless data exchange and operational efficiency and meets the needs of diverse stakeholders, including healthcare practitioners, Tribal partners, and state agencies. and improved service delivery for Medicaid-eligible populations and other underserved communities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee enterprise architecture across EHR and partner systems.
  • Align solutions with state IT standards, security, and interoperability goals.
  • Produce architecture documentation and technical models across lifecycles.
  • Support infrastructure planning, integration, and governance.
  • Facilitate interagency technology collaboration and scalability planning.  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications – Here’s What You Need

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
  • 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture and system integration.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

  • Experience with Epic architecture and public sector healthcare IT systems.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF, FEAF, or similar enterprise frameworks.
  • Ability to lead multi-agency system architecture efforts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Working Conditions

  • Professional remote office environment.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
