Overview

The Clinical Director, Implementation Support, is a senior clinical leadership role supporting the successful implementation of the Health Care Management and Coordination System (HCMACS) Program’s Enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

 

The Clinical Director will provide clinical expertise to ensure the program aligns with best practices in healthcare delivery, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role will lead efforts to develop and govern clinical standards, facilitate system adoption, and oversee clinical aspects of system configuration, build, and optimization. The Clinical Director will serve as a liaison between clinical stakeholders and program leadership, ensuring the successful incorporation of clinical workflows and policies into the EHR system.

 

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership across strategic planning and risk management activities.
  • Lead development and governance of clinical standards and informatics policies.
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement, including tribal, state, and federal partners.
  • Direct clinical system configuration and build, supporting Epic adoption.
  • Support quality metrics, compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Clinical Degree (e.g., MD, MSN, PharmD) .
  • 10 years of experience in Clinical Leadership and Informatics Strategy.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

  • Deep expertise with Epic EHR systems and public sector healthcare programs.
  • Proven experience leading cross-agency clinical teams and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Working Conditions

  • Professional office environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Olympia, WA.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.

Pay Range

USD $210,000.00 - USD $280,000.00 /Yr.
