The Work
The Program Manager, Implementation Support, is a key leadership role within the Health Care Management and Coordination System (HCMACS) Program. This position is responsible for coordinating, managing, and monitoring the planning and execution of the HCMACS Program’s activities to implement an Enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.  

 

The Program Manager will oversee program governance, facilitate communication across agencies, and manage performance, risks, and timelines for the HCMACS EHR implementation. This role is a critical leader in driving cross-agency collaboration and ensuring alignment with the program’s strategic goals. The Program Manager will also serve as the primary advocate for achieving program milestones related to healthcare transformation and improved service delivery for Medicaid-eligible populations and other underserved communities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and implementation of the HCMACS EHR Program across agencies.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communication and program governance activities.
  • Manage risk, timelines, scope, and program performance metrics.
  • Support cross-agency collaboration and change management planning.
  • Represent program in executive and external stakeholder forums.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications – Here’s What You Need

  • Degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience managing large-scale healthcare or IT programs.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

  • Experience with Epic, state-level health policy, and vendor coordination.
  • Knowledge of Agile, PMBOK, and federally funded project environments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Working Conditions

Pay Range

USD $185,000.00 - USD $245,000.00 /Yr.
