Overview

The Vendor Manager, Implementation Support, oversees the performance, coordination, and relationship management of vendors supporting the Health Care Management and Coordination System (HCMACS) Program.

 

The Vendor Manager plays a critical role in ensuring contracted vendors deliver high-quality services aligned with program milestones, performance standards, and budgetary guidelines. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on oversight to manage vendor relationships, track contractual compliance, and resolve performance issues as they arise. The Vendor Manager will also facilitate multi-vendor collaboration, promote alignment across interdependent activities, and provide regular updates to HCMACS program leadership.

 

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee vendor performance and relationship management across contracts.
  • Track vendor deliverables, timelines, and compliance with SLAs.
  • Coordinate multi-vendor collaboration and interdependencies.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations and renewal strategies.
  • Report on vendor risks, metrics, and issue resolution to leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Contract Management, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience managing IT vendors or contracts in public sector.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

  • Familiarity with state procurement and vendor oversight frameworks.
  • Experience with multi-vendor environments and performance management.
  • Strong negotiation and risk management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Pay Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
