Overview

The Senior Software Developer will lead the design and development of the new Oracle APEX application. This includes ensuring robust data models, normalized schemas, secure architecture, and enterprise deployment practices.

 

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the database schemas, data models, and normalization for long-term maintainability.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle APEX applications.
  • Build secure, accessible UIs using APEX Universal Theme, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and optimize PL/SQL code; enforce standards and lead peer reviews.
  • Direct data migration processes, ensuring integrity and accuracy.
  • Oversee application upgrades, deployments, and release cycles.
  • Mentor mid-level developers and provide technical leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with 508 accessibility, enterprise security practices, and other practices as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 4 Year Degree Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience.
  • 8+ years in software development; 5+ years working with Oracle APEX.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-scale APEX applications (10k+ users).
  • Expertise in data modeling, schema design, and normalization.
  • Strong PL/SQL and SQL tuning skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading application leading application deployments and upgrades.
  • Top Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Pay Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $114,000.00 /Yr.
