Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Implementation Specialist with a strong background in facilitating and leading workshops for SAP-based implementations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) and SAP EAM configuration, particularly with integrating SAP PM with field scheduling and mobility solutions. You will play a vital role in ensuring that SAP EAM solutions align with business requirements, integrating seamlessly with complementary SAP modules such as FI, MM, and CO, as well as with non-SAP systems like GIS.
This role requires someone with exceptional hands-on experience in project lifecycle management, with a firm command of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, to drive successful implementations and organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workshop Facilitation & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Organize, lead, and document workshops to gather business requirements, define workflows, and identify key pain points.
    • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, business units, and technical teams to identify needs and provide SAP EAM solutions that drive efficiency.
  • SAP EAM Configuration & Integration:
    • Configure SAP EAM systems to support notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle management of assets.
    • Implement work order integration with cross-functional SAP modules, such as:
      • FI (Finance Integration) for cost allocation and internal orders.
      • MM (Material Management) for inventory and procurement processes.
      • CO (Controlling) for work breakdown structures and reporting.
    • Develop solutions for non-SAP integrations, including GIS and mobility solutions.
    • Leverage experience with field scheduling platforms and mobile applications to enhance workforce productivity.
  • Implementation Lifecycle Management:
    • Lead end-to-end SAP implementation projects from requirement gathering to post-implementation support.
    • Design and document functional workflows, test scenarios, and implementation strategies within Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
    • Develop detailed project plans, mitigate risks, and monitor progress to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
    • Conduct end-user training sessions, ensuring adoption and facilitating department change management.
  • Cross-functional Coordination:
    • Collaborate with development teams to translate functional requirements into technical designs and specifications.
    • Work closely with third-party providers, business users, and IT teams to design seamless integrations.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience specializing in SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) and SAP EAM implementations.
    • Proven experience integrating SAP PM with field scheduling and mobility solutions.
    • Hands-on expertise configuring SAP EAM work orders, notifications, and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of integration points for SAP modules (FI, MM, CO) and non-SAP systems (GIS).
    • Well-versed in project lifecycle methodologies, including Agile SCRUM and Waterfall.
    • Proficient in designing data flows and functional workflows.
    • Skilled in preparing comprehensive documentation, including functional and technical specifications, workshop notes, and training materials.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to dynamic business needs.
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multifunctional teams and geographic locations.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • SAP Certified Application Specialist certification.
    • Agile SCRUM or PMP Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in utilities, energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of mobility solutions specific to asset maintenance and scheduling (e.g., SAP Fiori apps or third-party platforms).
  • Familiarity with GIS tools such as ESRI and their integration points with SAP systems.
