Overview

The Work

Head of Military Acculturation Leaders manages the Military Acculturation Leaders daily activities,

schedules and procedures. The Head of Military Acculturation Leaders will ensure the contract

provides on-site oversight of students for twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Responsible

for the direct supervision of 14 Military Acculturation Advisors. Provide expertise to Program

Manager concerning discipline issues with IMS.

 

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide at least one (1) military acculturation advisor for every 20 students [a total of at least ten (10) military acculturation advisor’s members at maximum student capacity of 200 RSAF ELT IMSs].
  • Develop and maintain Military Acculturation Leaders work schedule to ensure no gaps in coverage.
  • Shall enforce standards outlined in current version of 82 TRW and RSAF F-15 Fleet. Modernization Program Concept of Operations. Will use best practices to establish a military acculturation program designed to enable RSAF ELT IMSs to develop professional military attitudes, bearing and behavior.
  • Ensure RSAF ELT IMSs will participate in Retreat Ceremony.
  • Ensure transportation support to all RSAF IMSs stationed at Sheppard AFB. This includes transportation to and from the regional airport in an official capacity, official bank functions, off-base medical and dental appointments, and coordination of contingency transportation requirements for IMS official travel to and from the Sheppard AFB training location.
  • Responsible for acculturation and supervision of students. Leads unit with finalizing weekly restriction list with Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Country Liaison Office (CLO).
  • Document and inform COR and RSAF Program Manager of significant discipline/non- compliance issues with RSAF ELT IMSs.
  • Military acculturation advisors/leaders shall assist Contractor ELT Instructors with documentation of academic/disciplinary issues and conducting Academic Boards (ABs).
  • Military Acculturation Leaders shall team with RSAF MTLs to conduct RSAF ELT students counseling sessions for lack of motivation, discipline, or academic progress.
  • Military Acculturation Leaders shall assist Testing Control Officer (TCO) and/or ELT Instructors in administering ALCPT tests as required.
  • Military Acculturation Leaders shall follow provisions of AFI 16-105, JSCET, paragraph 10-47 and all current Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) policy memorandums to ensure accountability of enrolled students.
  • At the beginning of each day Military Acculturation Advisors shall annotate student's accountability using Contractor developed student management database.
  • Military Acculturation Leaders shall train the RSAF ELT IMSs to make maximum use of Sheppard AFB limited facilities. This may include having scheduled times for use of facilities identified by the TPM/COR such as laundry, dining facilities, prayer rooms (etc.).
  • At a minimum, Contractor shall conduct weekly dorm inspections IAW COR provided, locally developed checklist. Checklist will be provided by the 82 TRW/TO. With COR approval, best practices may be used to modify criteria.
  • Shall ensure students conduct weekly linen exchange.
  • All dorm repairs or breakages will be reported to USG Facility Manager.
  • As required, support the RSAF MTLs in the march, or as required they shall march IMS to all on-base activities.
  • Report RSAF ELT IMS who do not adhere to RSAF Grooming and Uniform Standards with the exception of facial hair standards to the RSAF MTL.
  • Transport and escort all RSAF ELT IMSs to/from Wichita Falls Regional Airport and ensure IMS is checked in for his flight.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

  • Professional office environment.
  • Ability to work on-site Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
  • May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.

Pay Range

USD $33.65 - USD $35.57 /Hr.
