- Must hold a current State of Hawaii Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P) license or National Registry certification at the Paramedic level
- Must maintain all credentials required to practice under the applicable Hawaii or federal authority throughout the contract period.
- Must possess valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a working Paramedic; 15 years preferred, with demonstrated competence in emergency medical services in remote, maritime, or expeditionary requirements.
- Experience supporting austere or at-sea operations, coordinating with flight/shipboard evacuation or telemedicine providers, strongly desired.
- Proficiency in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and trauma management, including airway control, IV/IO therapy, intubation, cardiac monitoring, defibrillator, and medication administration.
- Ability to manage and track controlled substances, medical supplies, and consumables per Government standards.
- Skilled in maintaining and operating shipboard medical equipment such as EKGs, AEDs, oxygen systems, and portable monitors.
- Competence in HIPAA and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) protection, recordkeeping, and medical documentation management.
- Capable of independent decision-making in remote settings, maintaining communication with a medical director 24/7 telemedicine support.
- Working knowledge of USCG emergency-response requirements and ability to integrate with crew drills.
- Must be physically fit to serve aboard a vessel at sea for up to 21 consecutive days.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and meet maritime medical-fitness standards.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Desired Qualifications:
- CPR/AED Instructor certification desirable
- Familiarity with Government safety, emergency-response, and reporting protocols preferred.
- Experience supports austere or at-sea operations, coordination with flight/shipboard evacuation or telemedicine providers, strongly desired.
- SECRET clearance is not required but preferred.
