Here’s What You Need
- Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization, proof required.
- 8 years’ experience in project management of large-scale Enterprise Implementations including system integration, resource management, procurement transition and vendor management.
- 8 years’ experience with State of Texas or Similar Federal/State Project Management
- 8 years’ experience with development.
- 8 years’ experience with identifying problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions; to develop and evaluate policies and procedures; to prepare reports.
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with Medicaid business operations.
- Experience overseeing the planning and execution of major projects, including facilitation and documentation of high-level critical path dependencies across multiple projects.
- Successful experience leading meetings and facilitating discussions between multiple stakeholder groups, including vendors.
- Ability to establish project goals and objectives that support the state and HHS strategic plans as well as federal directives.
- Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with State of Texas Agencies Project Delivery Framework.
- 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master
- 3+ years of progressive broad-based information systems, system integration and project delivery experience. Experience working with external vendors and/or Quality Assurance efforts.
- 2 years’ experience with Salesforce
- 1 years’ experience in State Procurement and Contracting experience.
- 1 years’ experience with Jira

Reports to: Program Manager
Working Conditions
- Professional office environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX, with some hybrid work – determined by the program manager.
- Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
- Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
- May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
- May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
- May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
