SALARY:

$109,532.80- $156,457.60

 

Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.

 

The Work

The Database Architect 3 serves as a senior-level technical expert responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of complex database systems. This role includes leading database architecture efforts for enterprise-level systems, ensuring compliance with government standards, and supporting critical applications. The Database Architect III collaborates with various stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient database solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust data structures to support analytics projects.
  • Developing comprehensive database and table designs for optimized data storage and retrieval and utilizing advanced analytics tools and techniques to extract insights that facilitate decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data strategies with organizational goals and provide thought leadership on data modeling and analytics best practices.
  • Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database. Cleans and maintains the database by removing and deleting old data.
  • Must be able to design, develop and manipulate database management systems, data warehouses and multidimensional databases.
  • This role frequently involves creating and maintaining a centralized registry of metadata.
  • Ensures that all user interfaces for database administration and inputting, viewing, outputting data(via reports) are compliant with accessibility standards.

Qualifications

Here’s What You Need

  • 10 years experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing on-prem and cloud technologies.
  • 10 years of experience with business intelligence and big data solutions.
  • 10 years of experience with healthcare data standards like FHIR, CCDA, and HL-7 would be a plus.
  • 10 years proven experience in leading and managing advanced analytics projects.
  • 10 years experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • 10 years experience in developing, deploying, and managing applications and data storage on these

 platforms.

  • 10 years of strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
  • 10 years of proficiency in SQL and other database technologies.
  • 10 years of knowledge of advanced analytics tools and strategies.
  • 10 years of strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • 10 years with the ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
  • 10 years of proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, including understanding of cloud-based data storage options, cloud security considerations, and best practices for deploying applications in the cloud.
  • 10 years experience in developing and maintaining enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting.
  • 10 years of experience in evaluating and integrating emerging technologies such as AI, machine

learning and big data analytics in healthcare.

  • 10 years of experience working closely with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure seamless data accessibility and usability.
  • 10 years experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and APIs.
  • 10 years experience with EHR integration, APIs, and real-time streaming.
  • 10 years experience in architecting and designing ETL pipelines using Informatica tools.
  • 10 years of experience with design and model data for cloud-based data architecture solutions using Snowflake as the primary data platform.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in implementing and deploying big data applications.
  • 8 years of hands-on experience in Python and Java/Scala.
  • 8 years of experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
  • 8 years of Healthcare industry experience.

Reports to: Program Manager

 

Working Conditions

  • Professional office environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX.
  • Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
