Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.

The Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects, managing development teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet organizational and client-specific requirements. This individual serves as a bridge between technical execution and project stakeholders, offering guidance, leadership, and technical problem-solving to deliver scalable and innovative results.

• Provide direction and technical guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Lead system architecture design, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of technology solutions.
• Analyze business and technical requirements, translating them into effective and innovative technical designs.
• Oversee the development and implementation of technical frameworks, prototypes, and systems integrations.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with organizational objectives and project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure smooth technical delivery.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality assurance requirements, including functionality, performance, and security.
• Promote the use of modern tools and techniques to optimize productivity and effectiveness.
• Proactively identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and issues to reduce project delays.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, define technical objectives, and communicate progress.
• Ensure alignment between technical delivery and business stakeholder expectations.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend adoption of tools and practices to improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on trends in technology and ensure technical deliverables remain cutting-edge.

The qualifications and skills listed below are intended to provide a general overview of the requirements for this position. • Bachelor’s-level degree from a recognized college or university in an IT-related or Engineering field. Alternatively, qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• If no degree is obtained, 9 years of experience is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
• A minimum of three (3) years of progressively complex experience and intermediate-level skill in analysis, design, programming, and testing.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience developing, testing or maintaining large management information applications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or doctorate from a recognized college or university.
• Six (6) or more years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. Four (4) or more years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
• Four (4) or more years of progressively complex experience and intermediate-level skill in analysis, design, programming, and testing.
• Three (3) or more years of experience developing, testing or maintaining large management information applications.
