- Level 1: 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Level 2: 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- Level 3: 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks; may lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Knowledge of the techniques and methods of planning, organizing, and writing various types of materials; research methodology; and departmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Skill in writing technical and business documents, and in the use of a computer and applicable software.
- Ability to conduct research; to compose, review, illustrate, and edit technical documents, materials, and reports; and to communicate effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Minimum Skills:
- Ability to read, comprehend, and assess a vast amount of highly technical information in a time-constrained environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office; including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and other general software applications.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree with an emphasis in business administration, English, education, or related field.
- Experience in technical writing, journalism, or communications work
- Able to quickly learn complex software tools and accurately reflect real-world use cases in your writing.
- Able to proactively identify documentation gaps, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Skilled at extracting information from diverse stakeholders, resolving ambiguity, and integrating feedback.

Working Conditions
- Professional Hybrid office environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX.
