The qualifications and skills listed below are intended to provide a general overview of the requirements for this position. - Instructional Systems Designer Journeyman:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in subject matter related to courseware hired to develop, Air Force ISD Course (AETC ADDIE or Approved Equivalent Course).
- Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
- CCAF ISD Certification or civilian equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience applying the ISD process to formal Air Force CO, IO, or Faculty Development courseware.
- Instructional Systems Designer Senior:
- Bachelor’s degree in subject matter related to courseware hired to develop, Air Force ISD Course (AETC ADDIE or Approved Equivalent Course).
- Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
- CCAF ISD Certification or civilian equivalent.
- 5 years’ experience applying the ISD process to formal Air Force CO, IO, or Faculty Development courseware.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the ADDIE or equivalent ISD processes. This skill level typically performs all functional duties independently and independently and may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
- Instructional Systems Designer SME:
- Master of Science Degree in subject matter related to courseware hired to develop. Air Force ISD Course (AETC ADDIE or Approved Equivalent Course).
- Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
- CCAF ISD Certification or civilian equivalent.
- 10 years’ experience applying the ISD process to formal Air Force CO, IO, or Faculty Development courseware.
- Proven experience developing DoD courseware.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze systems and procedures
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Working Conditions
- Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite in the main office.
- May include work in classified environments, requiring adherence to strict security protocols and protective measures.
- Occasionally it may require light physical activity, such as setting up training hardware, configuring lab environments, or troubleshooting systems.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
- Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
- May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
- May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
- May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
