The Work

The Senior Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining complex solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents) for federal and public sector clients. The role demands advanced technical expertise, solution architecture capabilities, and subject matter knowledge in digital transformation and automation, ensuring applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with government regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  •  Investigate problem areas.
  • Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Here’s What You Need

  • 8 years of experience with Software as a Service (Saas) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment.
  • 5 years of Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft PowerApps and Power   Automate technical solutions.
  • 4 years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience.
  • 2 years of experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven PowerApps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model.
  • Experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process

Flows.

  • Good understanding of Dataverse tables and uses.
  • Good understanding of Power Pages portals.
  • Good understanding of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
  • Good understanding of Articulate / Reach 360.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

  • Must possess problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Business process improvement and system design.
  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile development and sprint planning.
  • Experience with development and support Power Platform mobile apps.
  • Certification in Microsoft Power Platform.

Working Conditions

  • Professional office environment, with the ability to work on site in the main office in Austin, TX.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
