Overview

Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.

 

The Work

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and management of designated client programs. This role ensures alignment with contractual requirements and client objectives. The Program Manager oversees all program phases and drives the achievement of deliverables within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. The role serves as the interface between the customer and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct all phases of assigned programs to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive program plans and strategies aligned with client objectives and contractual requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client, stakeholders, and internal teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee contract compliance, ensuring all activities adhere to applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and administer program budgets, monitor resource allocation, and maintain financial accountability throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; maintain risk management processes, documentation, and escalation procedures when necessary.
  • Prepare, submit, and present required reports, technical documentation, and status updates to both the client and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular program reviews, status briefings, and performance meetings to maintain alignment on progress, priorities, and next steps.
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction, promote continuous improvement, and uphold organizational values throughout program execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities as outlined by the client.

  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Project Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with 12 years of direct industry experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in one of the above fields with 14 years of experience in the same disciplines.
  • 10 years of experience managing IT contracts focused on software development and system administration. Responsibilities include task assignment and review, setting project pace, monitoring work-in-progress, and verifying successful completion of deliverables. Demonstrated ability to work independently over initiating, managing, executing, and reporting on tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance is required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager supporting Army Military Intelligence with a Degree from an accredited institution with a strong academic reputation.

Desired Certifications:

  • CBA, ITIL, CGFM; CDFM; CCP; CMA; PMP; CDP.

Working Conditions

Pay Range

USD $74.51 - USD $93.75 /Hr.
