Overview

The Site Supervisor / District Coordinator serves as the ultimate technical authority for infrastructure health, enterprise compliance architecture, and strategic training program oversight across the assigned district or portfolio of sites. This senior role is accountable for designing and governing the master framework for IT infrastructure “wellness,” directing advanced network auditing and Tier‑3 remediation, architecting and enforcing agency IT policy, and leading enterprise training initiatives. The Site Supervisor / District Coordinator operates as the executive technical escalation point for agency leadership, ensuring that infrastructure, compliance, and workforce readiness align with mission objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Infrastructure Wellness Strategy
    • Serves as the ultimate technical authority for infrastructure health and end‑user device posture across all assigned sites.
    • Designs the overarching master framework for enterprise IT infrastructure and end‑user device wellness check methodologies, including schedules, metrics, and reporting standards.
    • Establishes performance baselines, risk thresholds, and early-warning indicators to proactively identify and mitigate operational and security risks.
  • Advanced Network Auditing & Tier‑3 Remediation
    • Directs district- or enterprise‑wide network performance evaluations, ensuring consistent, repeatable assessment of availability, latency, throughput, and resiliency.
    • Defines optimization standards and technical criteria for network and infrastructure performance, guiding engineering teams in the implementation of improvements.
    • Leads Tier‑3 structural root‑cause analysis and remediation efforts for complex infrastructure issues, coordinating cross-functional teams and documenting long‑term corrective actions.
  • Policy Architecture & Enterprise Compliance
    • Authors and/or authorizes compliance guidelines for infrastructure, endpoints, and operational processes, aligning with agency, Federal, and industry standards.
    • Oversees agency IT policy implementation at the site/district level, ensuring consistent adoption, enforcement, and documentation across all locations.
    • Acts as the primary liaison for security and compliance audits, coordinating responses, evidence collection, and remediation plans with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Monitors enterprise compliance posture, identifies systemic gaps, and leads initiatives to improve audit readiness and reduce risk exposure.
  • Master Training Program Oversight
    • Leads the development of comprehensive IT equipment disposal programs, including processes for sanitization, chain‑of‑custody, recycling, and destruction.
    • Designs, approves, and maintains training curricula and hands‑on modules for IT staff and agency personnel supporting equipment lifecycle and disposal activities.
    • Validates training program effectiveness through metrics, feedback, and periodic assessments; updates materials to reflect evolving policy, technology, and compliance requirements.
  • Technical Advisory & Executive Escalations
    • Serves as the executive technical escalations point of contact for senior leadership, site managers, and cross‑functional teams on complex infrastructure, compliance, and training matters.
    • Provides high‑level technical counsel to guide strategic decisions, technology investments, and risk management strategies.
    • Uses exceptional verbal and written communication skills to deliver complex technical briefings, executive summaries, and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
    • Represents the district in governance forums, steering committees, and inter‑agency working groups as the senior technical authority.
  • Site/District Coordination & Governance
    • Coordinates activities across multiple sites within the district to ensure consistent implementation of standards, policies, and wellness strategies.
    • Establishes and monitors KPIs and SLAs related to infrastructure health, compliance, and training outcomes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to local technical leads and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10 years of related experience.
  • Must have good technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, and training or experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Secret Clearance is required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Must possess problem-solving skills.
  • Must be capable of working with remote support tools and ticketing systems and must be willing to travel.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
