Overview

The Tester  Business Analyst will support a modern application product team by providing both testing leadership and business analysis coverage to ensure successful delivery of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) scope. This dual role position performs end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), while also supporting requirements refinement, backlog grooming, and user engagement activities in close coordination with the Product Owner and existing Business Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, and/or business analysis roles supporting enterprise applications.
  • Experience with enterprise-level test automation, functional testing, and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Experience testing user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure requirements are fully validated and traceable.
  • Ability to work across technical and business teams to ensure alignment between requirements and delivered functionality.
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools for defect tracking, test case management, and agile backlog management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Active Top Secret required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Requirements gathering and documentation.

  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Professional office environment, with the ability to work on site in the main office.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.

Pay Range

USD $139,000.00 - USD $143,228.00 /Yr.
