ESF 2, or Emergency Support Function #2, is a component of the National Response Framework that focuses on communications during emergencies. ESF 2 plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication among responders and the public during incidents.
The Emergency Support Function #2 (ESF 2) Specialist, Junior will plan, coordinate and execute disaster response activities. The ESF Specialist will coordinate federal actions to assist in restoring public communications infrastructure and supports state, tribal, and local governments in emergency communications and the restoration of public safety communications systems. This role will communicate, write, and prepare reports and present briefings to partners and senior leaders.
