Qualifications – Here’s What You Need
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in natural resource management, environmental policy, or international negotiations.
- Advanced degree in public policy, economics, law, environmental studies, or a related field.
- Practical experience in international negotiations, programs, and initiatives related to deforestation, forest degradation, illegal logging, and land degradation.
- Familiarity with natural resource, forest, and land use management, policy, and financing frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international standards and relevant platforms addressing resource management and conservation.
- Familiarity with major geographic regions, such as the Amazon, Congo Basin, and Southeast Asia.
- Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Do the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Minimum Skills:
- Strong program management, international negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and oral communication skills, with significant experience working with diverse stakeholders such as policymakers, foreign government representatives, NGOs, and private sector entities.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce clear and compelling documents.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a reliable and effective member of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and follow-through, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Capability to effectively navigate a complex organizational structure and manage multiple internal and external relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Working Conditions
- Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite in the main office.
